Construction Kick-Off
Construction kicked off today for The Fields Park, in the Pearl District. A Pearl District resident was nice enough to capture a lot of the event on video today, see the below embed.
Hoyt Transforming a Temporary Dog Park
During construction of the Fields Park over the next year dog owners won’t be let down. Hoyt Street Properties this week said they’ll be seeding the former Cavalia site with fresh grass seed. The Pearl District Neighborhood Association, said “Hoyt is going to seed the block that was parking for Cavalia, for a temporary Dog Park.” This is quite a nice gesture from Hoyt.
The location will be from Northwest 12th Avenue through 13th Avenue, off Quimby Street. See map below:
