Police were called Friday to Station Place apartments, off Lovejoy and 9th Ave, on a disturbance call about 3:00 AM. Officer’s found a resident dead in his 12th floor apartment. He was a residents of four years, according to a neighbor.
The suspect, Charles Joseph, was arrested shortly after at 6:15 AM. It is suspected the resident let him in for a welfare check.
This is truly a loss for the Pearl District community. We rely on the character of retirees, like this individual, to keep the area the way it is.
